Auditory-Cognitive Synesthesia

I enjoy listening to music. Whether it be on the radio, my Spotify, or a nearby concert, music is an  art form that pleases me. It stimulates the mind like nothing else can. In what I call Auditory-Cognitive Synesthesia, the body hears a certain sound or song and immediately the brain shifts its thoughts to another object or body. This phenomena takes place to people everywhere, and just as my esteemed colleagues have discussed in their previous posts it happens to them. I too could point out multiple examples in my own personal life, and I will later in this post. Women, I must say, are quite the wonder. I am constantly baffled and in awe of the enigma of the female species. Such beauty and mystery abounds in women. For centuries, the brightest minds have fought vigorously to unravel and understand women. It cannot be done. It would be like trying to absorb all of the oceans into one sponge, or trying to map the entire universe on a sheet of notebook paper. But before I get any further off topic I must complete my assignment.

The esteemed panel of leadership here at the Queso Club have declared this session's topic as "Songs That Remind Us of Women." I like this topic. For one, it is thought provoking and gives our viewers an inside look at something personal about each of our esteemed members. And secondly, I came up with it. That being said, I present my:

Top Five Songs That Remind Me of Women

NUMBER FIVE: "Brown Eyed Girl" -Van Morrison

Such an awesome song. With its upbeat tempo and light-heated lyrics, "Brown Eyed Girl" is such a good song for when I'm feeling low or just need something I can smile about. Which is exactly why this song reminds me of ***** *****. Whenever I think of ***** ***** I always smile and feel good on the inside. She, meaning ***** *****, always makes me feel childish and youthful. She makes me feel like I can act like a kid and do stupid stuff without regret. I feel safe and I feel like can always be totally honest with her. She always brings out the brighter side of myself.

NUMBER FOUR: "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" -Elton John

"Can You Feel the Love Tonight" is such an emotional piece of music, and although I am not a huge Elton John fan, I must appreciate a masterpiece such as this when I hear it. In the same sense, when I see such an amazing masterpiece such as ****** ******, I can't help but be awestruck. This song makes speaks of "feeling love," and when I am with ****** ******, I feel love. It is that simple. There is a certain magic about this song. And there is a certain magic about ****** ****** that I can't explain on my own. Elton John sings. "it's enough to make kings and vagabonds leave their fairy tales." He speaks of a force so magical that it brings characters out of fairy tales and into reality. The force of course is love, and I am no king (some might argue the vagabond bit), but the love I feel for ****** ****** is enough to tear me from reality and throw me into a what feels like a fairly tale.

NUMBER THREE: "Ragdoll" -Aerosmith

Ah, this song is just crazy. It embodies my foolish younger passions. That being said, this song reminds me of none other than Ragdoll ***** *****. Not much I can say about this girl. The song "Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba reminds me of her too (for reasons I am not proud of). Anyway, she is woman. She is confusing. Excuse my being redundant, please.

NUMBER TWO: "Wonderful Tonight" -Eric Clapton

"Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton was released in 1977 on the album titled "Slowhand." It is a beautiful melodic love song that warms my heart every time I hear it. It makes me think of a wonderful lass who is amazingly beautiful on the inside and the outside. ******* ******** is that lass. The song speaks of a woman who possesses immense beauty, and whose pure awesomeness makes everyone around her just a little bit more awesome. Clapton sings about how just by being with her, he feels wonderful. The same applies to me personally. When I am with ******* ********, I feel wonderful. Even when I simply here this song on the radio I feel wonderful. Because I think of how wonderful she is, and how lucky I am to have her in my life.

NUMBER ONE: "Matrimony" -Gilbert O'Sullivan

"Matrimony" is a great song written by the ingenious Gilbert O'Sullivan' and it makes me think of the most beautiful ***** ****. This song reminds me of her for many reasons. The biggest one of them being the fact that I believe that she and I should get married and have some epic kids. I mean, these kids would absolutely destroy at basketball. They would be the perfect children. ***** **** and I's genes are just perfect for each other. We are perfect for each other.

That being said, that is all I have to say on the matter.

From his attic in Searcy, Arkansas this is SweetnLowe signing off. Goodnight and Godspeed.
